Kids Games

I have extensive experience working with students of all ages. If you are looking an activity for your child that fosters creativity, teamwork, strategic thinking and storytelling, this game is perfect for you. Have a child who has been looking for a game but doesn’t know how to play or have anyone to play with? I can pair you with an existing group, or help you start a new game of your own.

Family and Friend Games

Playing with people you already know is the absolute best! I can faciliate and GM for your friend group. Play, hang out, save the world, and most importantly, spend quality time together. No matter your group make-up, I’m happy to help create a game that you’ll all remember. A virtual D&D game is a great way to catch up with friends from around the country—or just across town.

Party Games

Have a special event coming up? We can tailor a “One-Shot” adventure to your group.

FAQs

What is Dungeons & Dragons?

The core of a great D&D experience is storytelling. You can think of it like a collective choose-your-own-adventure book. I prepare a fantasy story of sorcery and adventure. Then you and your family or friends take charge of characters, and through a combination of “role playing” and dice rolls we all cooperatively tell the tale. Maybe the story we’ll tell is a mystery. Maybe it follows the classic hero’s arc. Or, heck, maybe the story is just an excuse to experience a series of spectacular battles. D&D is all of these things, and just as there is no single best way to tell a story, there is no “right” way to play D&D.

Scheduling

I run campaigns in blocks of four-session units. Each session is two hours long and, schedule permitting, played once a week. I also offer sessions for special one-time occasions. Let me know what is best for you or your group and we can make it work.

But I don’t know how to play!

Don’t be intimidated! D&D has a lot of rules, but most of the people we have played with arrive new to the table. I am experienced at taking new players from their first character to fully mastering the game.

Do you only play D&D?

Nope! Besides Dungeons and Dragons, I also have experience running games of Pathfinder, Starfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Delta Green. Pick the game that’s right for you!

Testimonials

Brendan makes D&D a terrific experience for our pre-teen kiddo. L says, “Brendan is smart, creative and energetic, and he makes D&D so fun. He also makes sure we always have a little time to talk about how our day is going and what’s going on with us in our lives, and that helps me stay connected to my friends even though I don’t go to the same school as them anymore.” As parents we feel lucky to know that our kid is using his imagination and developing his friendships in D&D with Brendan each week. Thank you Brendan!

My son and his 2 friends have been playing D&D with Brendan for the last 4 years, since my son was in 4rd grade. My son loves Brendan and says that, “He is fun, leads great campaigns and knows the game really well,” all high praise for a 13 year old D&D enthusiast. From a mom’s perspective, it has been a really nice way for my son to keep in touch with friends who have moved out of the city. Brendan is kind and patient, and a master at soothing conflicts that inevitably arise. He is playful, does great character voices and the players really enjoy him. I can’t recommend him enough.

Our 12 year old son Joaquin has been playing D&D with Brendan for more than two years now and he truly loves every minute of it. Brendan, being an actor, brings a captivating mix of performance and improvisation to the game. His ability to encourage the kids to fully embrace their characters has not only sparked Joaquin’s creativity but also allowed him to develop his own storytelling skills.
Personally , as someone who fondly recalls my own D&D adventures as a kid, I appreciate Brendan’s masterful touch in weaving both classic D&D campaigns and unexpected forays into futuristic, technology-rich worlds. The diversity in storytelling keeps the adventures fresh and captivating, providing Joaquin and his friends with a rich tapestry of imaginative landscapes to explore. And most importantly, I appreciate how Brendan takes time to relate to each child as an individual. He genuinely cares about their day-to-day lives, asking questions, and fostering a friendship that extends beyond the gaming table. This personal touch creates an environment where Joaquin and his friends not only enjoy a thrilling Dungeons & Dragons adventure but also build strong long lasting friendships.

Brendan has been my DM for about four years now. When I first started I had no idea what I was doing. I had never played, and I barely even knew what it was about. Brendan showed me how to play. He showed me how to make a character that was just right for me. He showed me the basics and slowly, very slowly, I got better and better. Me and another kid in the campaign that I’m friends with even started our own campaign at camp. We could not have done any of that without learning from Brendan. He is so good at voice impressions and the way he describes the maps to the last detail makes me feel like I’m actually in the room. How he describes it might even be better than the actual picture. He always has us visualise the map before he shows it to us and every time I’m amazed at how well he describes it. When I look back at where I was when I first started, to now, where I have actually helped teach other kids how to play, I can’t believe how far I’ve gotten. I’ve been in other campaigns with other DM’s, but none of them are as good as Brendan. He makes it a pretty fair fight but once in a while he’ll throw in a challenge or two that will most definitely kill at least one of us. It’s a great community where before we even start the game, every week we just have like a ten minute period of just talking. Every aspect of DnD is better because of Brendan and I’m so thankful for him.
